Chrome Motors goes to the wicket for Langley Cricket Club

Chrome Motors has, for the second year running, provided a free car to Langley Cricket Club’s overseas player, Robin Smith. Robin has joined from South Africa and will be with the club for the whole of the 2025 season supporting the first team on the pitch as well as getting involved in grass roots cricket for the junior teams.

Danny Towns, owner of Chrome Motors said; ”When we were approached about the car for Robin we didn’t hesitate to say yes. The club has a great reputation in the local community and having the overseas player brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the club.”

This season, we’ve once again supplied an electric car, helping reduce the club’s environmental impact while ensuring their international player, Robin, can get to matches, training, and around town with ease.

Robin was presented the car earlier this week by Jacob Towns, the new graduate apprentice at Chrome Motors. Jacob commented; “The car is a small gesture that reflects our commitment to supporting local sport and championing sustainability. We’re delighted to be part of the team behind the team, and we wish Robin and everyone at Langley CC a successful and enjoyable season.”

Chrome Motors based in Macclesfield is ranked as the number one used car dealer in Cheshire by AutoTrader. With over 60 cars in stock they have built a reputation for customer service over the past 25 years.
